|
|
I've got a DTV adapter for my laptop and have used walmart antennas in the past with it, but they don't provide good reception.
I want an antenna with at least decent reception that I can attach to a tree or the vantop, etc. maybe with a magnet on the bottom that I can remove and store away after each use. I hoped maybe someone on the forum has had a good experience with an antenna and can point me in the right direction. I have looked a bit online but there is no way to tell if one will have decent reception or not.
I would like to like to keep the price $35.00 or less, if possible.
Any help would be appreciated! _________________ I am building a 2004 E-250 Super Duty into an RV for traveling to rock climbing destinations with my wife, myself, and 2 or 3 or 4 dogs. |

thanks, I will consider that one. I would prefer one that requires no power, but I guess I won't be getting an excellent signal without one of those "power injectors." I could mount this thing on a hiking pole and stick it in the ground. _________________ I am building a 2004 E-250 Super Duty into an RV for traveling to rock climbing destinations with my wife, myself, and 2 or 3 or 4 dogs. |

I plan on puting a 22 or 24" flatscreen in the van this summer for the wife, she'll watch Dvd's mostly but it would be nice to get a local station for weather maybe. _________________ I Didnot Escape, I'm on a Weekend Pass.

I don't have the link now but there is a utube about building a DIY antenna for digital TV. Try doing a UTube search for tv antenna. _________________ David Hair

Here's the Youtube link I used to build my homemade DTV antenna. I was using a $68 antenna that was amplified when I found the video. This bets the purchased one hands down, I'm now getting 36 channels compared to 16 with the $68 one. If you read the posts on the video, it seems to work for most everyone.
